How can I find out about some savings bonds that my late mother lost?

She only cashed a few, but she had others also. I went through all of her papers, and found nothing,including any numbers for any bonds. Is there a way to find out if there are still some uncashed bonds in my mothers name?

You could ask this question in the proper forum, such as personal finance not renting and real estate since it has nothing to do with renting & real estate
