Somebody please help me, I’m planning on putting 5000 eeb, efa and dividend etf fdl. Is thats a good plan?

I will be reinvesting 200 every month all three etf plus I reinvest the dividends also.
I’m using sharebuilders and all re investment are free.

    Whoa onthe jargon. If “EFT” means Exchange Traded Fund I would research it very carefully.

    Regards putting 200 in every month, in the US, that could be your tax accountant’s dream. The reason is that well you sell it, you will have a taxable event. If you reinvest dividends, and do multiple purchases, you will have to track all of those shares. (I don’t think one can use cost averaging the way one can in a mutual fund.)

    If research leads you to believe it is a good investment, I would recommend putting in $2500 next Monday, and $2500 in a couple of months. Hopefully you are using a discount broker and the fee is < $20 for each transaction. In that way you can dollar cost average without have a large number of small transactions.
