why is a stock on the canadian exchange market dropping but the pink sheet in the U.S is rising?

i bought a stock at 3.03/share on TDameritrade on the pink sheets and it shows that the price per share is at 3.90 but on yahoo finance i took up the company on the canadian exchange (its a canadian based company) and the price dropped from 3.93 on the canadian markt to 3.16. but when i check back on yahoo finance and look up the same company on the pink sheet it says 3.9. whats happening, should i be worried and sell my sares before i take a loss or what? thanks in advance [...read more]

I spent alot of time putting it together.. its a lot harder than it looks.. but after a few days of training, and 2 “game days” later, I’m ranked #12 in my conference of 350 some contestants.. so how impressive is this roster?
PG- Deron Williams (Sold him the second he got injured, his price plummeted, than repurchased him after his price dropped 15 bucks)
SG- Dwayne Wade (Scored 27, 9 and 6 his first game, nuff said)
G- Michael Redd (Averaged 22 points, 4 boards, and a Steal last season, I’d call him a steal for 30 bucks)
SF- Trevor Ariza (hardcore laker fan, so I knew he would be a great fantasy pick when the market had him listed at only 7 dollars! definitely a steal the way he’s been performing (11 Points, 6 boards))
PF- Louis Scola (This will be his breakout season, he had 12 points & 13 boards last night, what a steal for 22 dollars)
F- Corey Magette (He’s the offensive go 2 guy on the Warriors, expect him to average mid-20’s in points, and 6 assists, along with 2 steals)
FC- Tyson Chandler (Playing along side chris paul, his FG% will be great, he’ll get his 12 boards a game, and he’ll probably average around 20 points and 2 blocks)
C- Andrew Bynum (He’s been decent at best, but I have faith he’ll return to the playing form he was in pre-injury last year)
UTL- Jordan Farmar (This guy has been playing great ball for the lakers, I think he’s a canidate for 6th man of the year)

I am completely new to the world of trading stocks or currency, but I want to get started. I see ads for all these different websites (ameritrade, etrade, etc.), and I was wondering, which (if any) would be the best for a beginner? I’m not looking to get rich quick, but I would like to start investing my money for the long term.
Also, which if any of these sites offers a way to trade currencies? Ideally, I would become a member of the site with the best combination of both of these (trading stocks and currency).

Has anyone traded on this exchange before? Canada’s answer to NASDAQ and AMEX? These stocks are really low priced but TSX exchanges do not move the same as USA exchanges and are based on commodities. Many of TSX Venture stocks trend upward even at low prices. Anyone know anything about this exchange? [...read more]
